6.14. Server Pruner¶
What is the Server Pruner Command?¶
The Server Pruner
command checks d3VIEW for files that can be cleaned up.
Based on each HPC Server configuration in d3VIEW, the Pruner can use the policy
to determine which files can be safely removed and issues commands to delete
those files.
The pruner can check for simulations, attachments, or responses to be cleaned up.
There is a dry run option so the files that will be deleted can be listed out and reviewed before the files are actually deleted.
It is recommended to have a dry run before the files are deleted to ensure that no files are needed. Once the files are deleted, they will not be able to be recovered.
