11.2. License Server

First, the license server must be installed by using python 2.6 or beyond to run the install file in the install directory:

cd ${INSTALL_DIR}
python lucy-0.7.0-p27-license.install

Once installed, the python 2.7.16 path is enabled, and the dependencies are installed, a license string can be generated by running:

bin/lucy license

Email the license string to support@d3view.com to get a license file and directions on installing the license. Once the license file is properly installed, the license server can be started using bin/lucy_license_server start. If desired, the lucy_license_server can be copied or moved as an init.d service to allow for OS service integration.
