Introduction – Workflow Layout



Purpose

This workflow is constructed to take an Engineering Stress Strain curve and provide a calibrated MAT24 card whose material behaviour up until and including the Post necking region is similar to that of the Test data.​



How can you use it ?



Post Simulation

  1. The PPT report should have already been rendered and stored.​
    1. Can be downloaded from the PPT blob

Adding input data​

  1. Execution Type – Post necking Calibration​
  2. Post-necking Calibration Type – FD Based​
  3. Engineering Stress Strain​

4.DIC Strain VS Displacement curve (only if present)​

5.Material properties​

  1. Specimen Properties – Specimen choice and Specimen Dimensions ​

  2. Postprocessing choice: Part (or) Element​

  3. Solver Configuration
