DOE_SAMPLING_POINT_GENERATOR

“DOE Sampling point generator now supports the selection of different types of design. By default the option generates all designs based on the sampling type. However, in order to evaluate the design quickly, new options such as a) Baseline b) Min c) Max d) Bounds c) Last are now available. These options can help evaluate smaller number of designs quickly to verify the simulation models prior to running the full-suite of experiments.”

Below there are two columns in table. The first table illustrates the number of experiments for each of the designs using a sample dataset of variables. The second table shows the actual experiments generated by the worker

Example of Input parameters used for creating the experiments.

Below pictures shows Output Summary of Experiments for all the Design types

Taguchi sampling type

*DOE_SAMPLING_POINT_GENERATOR worker in Workflows has new sampling type method called ‘Taguchi’

Definitive screening design

New sampling type called ‘Definitive screening design’ is added to *DOE_SAMPLING_POINT_GENERATOR worker in Workflows.

Fractional Factorial Design

*DOE_SAMPLING_POINT_GENERATOR worker now supports a new sampling method called ‘Fractional Factorial Design’ in Workflows.

Baseline option

Descriptions are now updated for Baseline input option in *DOE_STUDY_LAUNCH_FROM_SIMULATION worker.
