27. Material Database

27.1. Databaes has new Material database in sample datasets.

1. We can access Material database with few simple steps​
2. Navigate to the ‘Database’ application from application try​
3. Click on the name ‘d3VIEW Material Database’ ​

4.This will take us to all the material records

27.2. Searching and Filtering

Filtering:​

1. It is very easy to search for a particular material in the material database​
2. We can use any information about the material to search for the records​
3. For example, we can search, we can search ‘Dual Phase Steel’ with grade 780.​
4. This will show all the material records that matches the specified properties.​

Search:​

1. If we know the specific record, we can search by using any keyword related to that record

27.3. Comparing records

Comparing:​

1. We can select the records that we wish to compare​
2. Click on the ‘Compare’ button​
3. This will take us to the Simlytiks layout where we can review the selected material data
